Here is the entire Britney Spears song “Gimmie More” played in reverse – some of the subliminal messages are questionable but forward the video to after 2 minutes in and there are some interesting suggestions.

For example what we here when the song is backmasked is messages like “see you singer in hell”, “I’m not gonna say this shit aint messed up” and “hear me, hear me” instead of “gimme, gimme”.

WE can also hear Britney asking for help, and for someone to hold her. It doesn’t surprise us, as another version of Gimme More subliminal song has totally different subliminal messages through which she might also be crying out for help.

Other messages in this song thouhg are: broke, its some bullshit, we cant fix it, I won’t move on, make up – make a movie.

Then some more cries for help as we can hear Britney saying “Yesterday I felt so safe (please help me)”. “Bitch now take it in the snatch because they aint waiting shit for some more” and then some sexual suggestions – “ohhh… another sign of orgasam, ahh… shit for real its still… about you!” and “ohh you can fly but you can’t handle that much… noo, feels like… fake, nasty” and we also hear a few other messages, check them out by watching the video now.

Subliminal Messages In The Aria Awards

This is a video made by “Media Watch” who launched an investigation into the 2007 Aria Music Video Awards in Australia. It shows various subliminal messages where sponsors logos were flashed up during the different category announcements.

Subliminal messaging techniques such as these are illegal – whether used within advertisements themselves or used to advertise a product within an actual program. Here is the video, but also see below for an update.

October 2008 Update:

[broadcaster] TEN breached code by broadcasting material below or near the threshold of normal awareness during 2007 ARIA Awards

The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) has found that the Ten Network breached the Commercial Television Industry Code of Practice 2004  during the broadcast of the 2007 ARIA  Awards on 28 October 2007 by transmitting images below or near the threshold of normal awareness.

ACMA reviewed the show frame by frame. It found that the rapid-cut graphics used in the program was a technique that attempted to convey information to viewers below or near the threshold human awareness, which is a breach of clause 1.8.4 of the code – The code gives clear rules regarding the use or involvement of any technique which attempts to convey information to viewers.

Here are the penalties impsed on Network 10 for this breach, TEN network must:

  • Distribute the investigation report to all relevant production staff  to ensure that future productions of ARIA Awards are consistent with ACMAguidelines
  • Not use the same rapid cut use of sponsor logos for the upcoming 2008 ARIA Music Awards
  • Ensure future compliance (any future breach will lead to significantly heightened compliance testing. )
  • Highlight the code clause in their external production agreements.

Of course, TEN network is not the only one to use subliminal messages in their programming, but both CNN, FOX and some others are likely too big to be fined for those infractions aimed at only the weaker stations it seems.

Here is a reversed recording of Michael Jacksons Don’t stop till you get enough. I don’t know why he would be trying to get people to join the navy, but perhaps the first message is a little more plausible.

The first message, when the song is reversed and played slower is – I’m so upset at what’s happening.

And the other one is – Join the navy, join, join” instead of “Don’t Stop till you get enough”.

We know, shes weird, and the lyrics all seem tu blur into each other and make no sense… BUT if you listen carefully you can make her out saying “have sex” several times.

This song – Led Zeppelin’s Stairway to Heaven, is a CLASSIC example of subliminal messaging backmasking in a rock song – it caused controversy between Christian groups at the time of it’s release and is still heavily debated to this day. Here is a video, firstly of the song played forwards, and then with it in reverse – see for yourself and decide:

Subliminal Messages in Nirvanas Smells Like Teen Spirit

Someone has made this video of Nirvana’s “Smells like teen spirit” played in reverse. The first part they highlight barely sounds like much to be honest – it is supposed to make the words “I’m worse at what I do best, and for this gift I feel blessed. Our little group has always been, and always will until the end” read/her like “These waves warm me for us. We’re bloody. Take me away so I can pretend I know it’s so hard” when played in reverese.

But the second set highlighted seems like there could be real subliminal audio messages planted intentionally in the Nirvana song. The words “This one is at the end of the song, when Curt Kobain screams “A Denial” four times – and it is quite clear and wierd that it sounds like “I hate you” when played in reverse, which wouldn’t really surprise us coming from Curt.
